Where I could get a PC game machine for 600 bucks. Also a game PC is much cheaper than a Mac game system. Hardly a logical means of comparing game players systems out there. I never heard of steam until I bought a game that installed it. ALSO someone said "look at Steam hardware survey" you CAN use that as a means of comparing mac to pc gamers. But maybe that was the way the flight sim app was programmed? but seemed really poor. Can you plug in a PC controller in the USB port? Those I tested acted like switched and not pots. I prefer the iMac for games, except I've not had good luck with controllers. OSX isn't flawless there are some REALLY STUPID things (no move file in the file menu - you must hold a key) to move instead of copy is one really stupid thing. I really hate that the ipad is locked up so you can't log into a network on it or run flash. I feel the surface pads will seriously hurt apple in time. HOWEVER - I still HATE APPLE as a company. In 2 days I found the Mac to be vastly superior to the PC. Why do I have a Mac? I did a sign for a iMac store (large awning) and they offered to pay me more value in a iMac than in cash. I was a paid beta tester for Activision and have been a PC for decades. I used them back in the one button days and they drove me crazy.
The windows games I installed on it run faster and smoother on the Mac than they do on my high end Dell.
Parallels doesn't need to be rebooted - I run win8 along side OSX at the same time.
